MCA partnered with Siemens to provide a NORDX/CDT voice and data structured cabling system for Reliant Stadium, the home of the Houston Texans and the 1.2 million square foot new Exhibition Hall � Reliant Center. MCA installed NORDX/CDT 1200 Series Infrastructure and NORDX/CDT 2400 Series Cable to support the voice and data network. In addition Siemens provided several technology solutions for communications, building controls and automation, fire and safety systems, security and electrical switch gear. Reliant Stadium, Reliant Center, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Offices included: - 3 MDFs and 77 IDFs

Tropical Storm Allison - Houston Medical Center - Mission Command

Project Description:
MCA's team was put to the test was during Tropical Storm Allison. The Houston Medical Center was in a critical situation; their telecom and computer system equipment was not operating. For the Medical center in the middle of a disaster, this critical situation was more than a disaster in itself. MCA's team was called to the rescue and for a full 14 days, MCA had 44 men working 12-hour shifts for 24 hours a day. MCA's team brought the communications systems back online so that the Medical Center could focus their efforts where they belong. |

A new recreational sports center opended its doors on April 15, 2007 to students at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. The 129,550-square-foot facility enpompasses landmark McDonald Gym and includes 13,000 square feet of cardiovascular and free-weight training; a one-tenth mile walk/jog track; a 43-foot climbing wall; basketball, volleyball, badminton courts; a wellness and fitness center as well as various lounge areas. |
