Audio/Video

Sound Masking - Sound Masking is a precise background sound that blends unobtrusively into the environment to cover up or "mask" unwanted distracting noise. Sound Masking is generated with an electronic processor and delivered through amplifiers to loudspeakers covering a space where it is tuned to a comfortable level. The system will provide your environment with speech privacy, confidentiality and protection of proprietary information. It can be shown to increase productivity in the workplace to 15% or more. Sound Masking provides a solid foundation for effectively managing noise distractions in open-plan spaces, closed offices and conference rooms making it ideal for law offices, banks and schools.

Sound Reinforcement - Typically used in large venues such as arenas, stadiums, theaters, churches and convention centers, sound reinforcement systems allow for sound to be heard in remote locations without jeopardizing the quality or depth of the sound.

Pro-Sound - A system similar to sound reinforcement, however; Pro-Sound is typically installed for commercial locations such as retail stores, clubs, gymnasiums. Pro-Sound also allows the user to distribute sound through many areas at one time.

Audio/Visual - A/V Systems combined with Pro Sound with Video systems such as projectors and plasma screens allow the right tools for the best presentations. Most often found in boardroom but rapidly growing in demand to interface with training situations at universities and local school districts in addition to hotels and convention centers.

Remote Control Access - AMX, FSR and Crestron provide systems which allow the user to control the sound reinforcement, pro-sound and audio/visual from one remote location and give the presenter control over all aspects of sound, input devices, projectors, screens, shades and any other 232-type interface.

Public Address (Also known as paging systems) - Public Address (PA) Systems allow information to be sent out via a pro-sound or reinforcement system over a loudspeaker so all personnel can receive information. Public Address Systems can be used in emergency situations, but are most commonly used in Retail stores, schools, office buildings, hospitals and industrial plants.

Media Retrieval - Most often used in education facilities where extensive use of video is required by teachers and trainers. A Media Retrieval system will be located at a head end or main equipment location and allows access to a media library via intercoms or telephones. Having this system in place allows the user to access a video without leaving a training or classroom.

MATV/CATV - Master Antenna for Television (MATV) Used as a primary input for receiving video signals if you physically have an UHF, VHF or FM antenna.
Cable Television (CATV) identical to MATV but uses a cable source such as Time Warner or Satellite to be distributed.
